The NERCOMP
Board of Trustees has organized committees to handle specific topics.
If you would like to volunteer your time, energy and ideas to a committee,
or if you wish to direct a question to a committee, please e-mail

Administrative Committee |
 |

The Administrative committee is responsible for managing the financial and administrative aspects of NERCOMP. The committee is charged with reviewing the bylaws and compliance at NERCOMP, and is responsible for maintaining NERCOMP's relationship with EDUCAUSE and NELINET. The committee also provides regular financial reporting, and ensures annual independent audits are conducted. Members of the Administrative committee also work on nominations, board elections, officer elections and succession planning.

Annual Conference/Program Committee |
 |

The Annual Conference committee focuses on planning and operating NERCOMP’s Annual Conference, including solicitation of proposals, proposal selection, pre-conference selection and the development of an effective, high-level strategy and program for each year’s event. The Chair of the Annual Conference Committee will be the advocate for this group.

License / Vendor Relations Committee |
 |

The License/Vendor Relations committee works with NERCOMP’s vendors and partners to promote the leverage inherent in NERCOMP’s broad membership, and to obtain better pricing, licensing, service and support for NERCOMP members. Some of the vendors with whom the Licence/Vendor committee currently interfaces are Microsoft, ESET and SPSS.

Membership / Institutional Representative (IR) Committee |

The Membership/IR committee focuses on issues associated with recruitment, benefits, reporting and information dissemination at NERCOMP.

The Nominating committee is responsible for the annual process through which potential Board Members are presented.

Special Interest Group (SIGs) Committee |
 |

The SIGs committee focuses on “hot topics,” specifically current events and issues that appeal to NERCOMP members. The SIGs committee solicits participation in SIGs, recruits leaders and coordinators who are crucial to the development and maintenance of this vital program, and manages the annual review of the special interest groups.
